Since many of you haven’t been able to join our online classes for one reason or another, but still want to be able to take class with Finis as much as possible, now you can!

We’re offering our best pre-recorded warm-up exercises and full classes which you can rent for 24-48 hours at a time starting at just $2! (All rentals on this page are 24 hours — see the rentals from $5 here.)

Class Descriptions

Ten-Minute Warm-up – October 21, 2021

Get ready to dance with 3 easy exercises that will get your blood flowing and warm you up from head to toe.

Morning, noon, or night, this warm-up works like magic and will relax tight muscles, increase your range of motion, and have you ready to go!

EXERCISES:

1. Standing at the barre, rise & bend back, relax in demi-plié / stretch the back of your body and legs

2. Standing away from the barre, stretch your spinal muscles and hamstrings / at the barre, stretch your feet, reinforce your posture
New Ballet Music 7, Track 14

3. Standing at the barre, bend your body sideways and in a circle / relax and stretch in grand pliés in second and first position

EQUIPMENT: You’ll need some kind of support: a barre, or sturdy chair, or kitchen counter.

ATTIRE: Ballet class attire or tight-fitting clothing. Ballet slippers or socks.

TOTAL RUN TIME: 17 minutes.

Turnout Workout – October 21, 2021

If you don’t have much turnout, and are taking ballet classes, these four exercises are just what you need to look your best.

Three exercises are done sitting on the floor, the last exercise is using a barre or chair or kitchen counter.

In just 15 minutes, you’re warmed up and ready to dance!

EXERCISES:

1. On the floor, stretch the groin and inner thigh muscles, loosen the back muscles

2. On the floor, stretch the rotator muscles and the side of the body

3. On the floor, stretch the groin and inner thigh muscles for the grand plié in second position, loosen the back muscles

4. Standing, work the grand plié in second position & test your balance

EQUIPMENT: You’ll need some kind of support: a barre, or sturdy chair, or kitchen counter.
